Year 4's World War 2 Victory Party
This term the Year 4 children have been learning about World War 2. To end our topic the children attended a 'street party' to celebrate VE Day! 30th March 2012
On the last day of term Year 4 children came to school dressed in typical World War 2 clothing. During the morning they made party hats and flags and learnt how to jive. In the afternoon they attended a street party to celebrate the end of the war! They listened to and sang along to music from World War 2, danced to 'In the Mood' by Glenn Miller and were able to try spam and fish paste sandwiches!
