Please stick to these times as closely as possible as they have been designed to ensure social distancing and with a safe level of staffing in mind.

We have noticed since 8th March, more and more children are beginning to arrive in the class significantly earlier than their allocated slot.

If you arrive at school well before your allocated start time, please wait in your car until the times shown in the chart.

If you send your child into school between 8:00 and 8:40, we will assume they are attending breakfast club and you will be charged accordingly.

We are providing a paid child minding service for critical worker families and it is not fair to these families who have arranged payment if we provide child minding free of charge to other families.

Free School Meals

The national voucher scheme for supermarket vouchers for children eligible for Free School Meals has restarted and parents of children eligible who are working from home should have received their first codes on THURSDAY last week.

The scheme provides £15 vouchers per child per week, which can be redeemed in a number of supermarkets, including ADSA, TESCO, Morrisons, ALDI, etc.  Parents can find out all about the scheme by clicking here to visit the Edenred website.

Eligible families should expect the voucher code to arrive via email now each THURSDAY for the next 3 weeks. We are not sure what is happening in school over half term yet, but I expect the Local Authority to arrange food parcels as the government have said they aren’t funding vouchers over the school holidays.

School Dinners and bringing things to school

We have arranged for families eligible to receive Free School Meals with children who are working from home to receive vouchers through the post. This will be backdated until January 4th.

In school, while we have reduced numbers, we have had to revert back to providing a hot meal choice and sandwiches at lunchtimes: children can still bring a packed lunch.

Because we are asking them to bring shoes, water bottles and lunch boxes and because there are fewer children in school, we now think it is safe to bring rucksacks to put these things in. Please don’t send any unnecessary items into school.
