Did you know that if you're on certain benefits, including Universal Credit, your child may be eligible to receive free school meals during term time – as well as free support during the school holidays. BENEFIT BASED FREE SCHOOL MEALS SHOULD NOT BE CONFUSED WITH UNIVERSAL FREE SCHOOL MEALS. Children in Reception, Years 1 & 2 are entiled to a free meal everyday but nothing more. If you apply for and are entitled to Benefit Based Free School Meals your child not only receives a free meal everyday, but also receives FREE breakfast club sessions, FREE school trips, FREE milk, REDUCTION in the price of residentials and a REDUCTION in the price of Wrap Around Care.
