At Wadworth, we believe in nurturing not only our children’s curiosity but also their drive to learn independently. That’s why we’ve created the Wadworth Graduate Awards Programme — a special initiative designed to support and celebrate our pupils’ dedication to independent study.

The programme encourages children to explore subjects that spark their interest and inspire their learning. Each Graduate Award focuses on a specific topic and offers children the opportunity to study both at home and during special study sessions held outside of regular lesson time.

How it works:

  • Children choose a topic they are passionate about.
  • They work independently, guided by tailored study materials and support.
  • When they feel ready, they take the Graduate Test – a set of ten carefully designed questions.
  • Those who pass receive a Graduate Badge to proudly wear on their uniform.

Some children may not pass the first time — and that’s okay! We encourage resilience and a positive attitude towards learning. Trying again, learning from mistakes, and showing determination are just as important as the award itself. At Wadworth, we believe in being brave, never giving up, and growing through challenge.

This programme is more than just a badge — it’s a celebration of effort, independence, and the journey toward becoming lifelong learners.
